Iringa, Tansania

At the begining of March 2011 Michael and Johannes were travelling to Iringa in West-Tansania to build one of the children-treedomes with children of an orphanage. Again this community was run by African Christian sisters, who are working with hundreds of orphans in a wonderful way. When they heard of the idea of the global earth-children-treedomes they immediately said: „Yes, lets do it!“ So first we painted with 3-6 years old children. They all could somehow understand to express their visions of the future of the earth.  They all carried it in their hearts. Look at their pictures in our gallery.

This little orphans were too young to plant the trees themselves, but helped to water them alltogether with great enthusiasm. They know how precious water is in Africa. Sister Martha promised us, after the opening ceremony, that they would gather every Monday morning in the treecircle to worship the trees, the nature and all Mother Earth with prayers, songs and dancing and also wathering the trees of course.
