In the community with the name „child in the sun“, which is run by Christian priests from India, we were invited to build a treedome with the streetkids. A former student of Johannes, Michael Bloss, who studies „international development“ in Tansania, made contact to this wonderful community. When we spoke about the idea of the earth-cildren-solidarity-treedome-movement to the kids, they were very exited and willing to realise this. In Africa it`s not possible to get tall trees like in China, because of the deep going roots. So we only could buy trees with the hight of 2-3 meters. We decided to use a special healing tree, which is useful to treat 48 illnesses and deseases. For creating the big ear – for listening to the children and Mother Earth – we shaped the wonderful African earth with our hands. After two days of hard, sweating work we opened this treedome with dancing, druming, singing and a talk of the Indian priest. The children were very proud of what they achieved and expressed in their paintings. They have never been painting before. Look at their pictures in the gallery.​
